Hello, i’m najat.

i was born in morocco, in a culture that carried arabic threads woven through deep amazigh roots. the women in my family knew things, about clay, about plants, about the way a touch on the right place could change the whole body.

i carry that lineage with me into this work.

BerberSmudge began as a quiet practice in my glass studio in eindhoven. i wanted to create a space where women could come to soften, where beauty was not chased, but met.

i work with the nervous system, with fascia and lymph, with sculpting touch and ancestral oils.

i believe everything can flourish when a woman feels safe in her body. when the system rests, clarity returns. creativity returns. radiance returns.

this is what i offer: slow, intentional work that holds your skin and your nervous system in the same hand.
